The models are produced from a 2-component liquid plastic, although the name used throughout descriptions is resin. The chassis and brake detailing are also iron weighted, and the roofs and coal loads are made with slate; this adds strength and weight to the completed model.
All the models are freelance in design, but some have been inspired by real-life prototypes. I try to make them as close to the prototype as possible.
The majority of the models are moulded to include the casting details. However, there are some extra detail pieces that need to be attached on certain models.
All kits come complete, including wheels and couplings; although glue is required to build the model. As the resin in pre-coloured, kits can be ordered in a choice of colours: brown; green, grey, blue and red. However, the resin can be painted if washed first in soap and water.
Ready built models can be ordered, but may need to be built on demand. Please check for timescale when ordering to avoid disappointment.
All models are available in 32mm and 45mm gauge unless otherwise stated.
