The wheels used throughout are of a rigid iron and copper filled plastic (cold cast metal). These are machined and fitted to steel axles, running in cold cast metal bushes. The wheel is designed for smooth running without the wheels touching or rubbing the sides. These are tested on “Peco” track, and are also used on my own, personal, models.
