This coach is a near scale model of the 28 foot Talyllyn coaches, numbers 20, 21 and 23, as originally built. The coaches were needed due to rapidly increasing traffic from the 1960`s onwards and were commercially built, and finished off at Pendre on the Talyllyn. Today only coach number 23 remains unaltered, numbers 20 and 21 being altered for wheelchair access.

The model is a straightforward kit to assemble with a lift off roof as first used with the Ffestiniog Bug Box. The kit is pre-coloured with the body panels being finished off in caramel and the seating in red. The red panelling on the coach requires painting though a suitable paint is available.

The AnDel Models Twin buffer system resolves the issue of twin buffer and single buffer compatibility. The AnDel designed twin buffer has a discrete centre buffer that allows connection to either centre buffer stock or single buffer stock without the coupling chain becoming detached.
