This coach is scale model of the 1901 series third compartment coach of the Glyn valley tramway. Two of these coaches were built for the tramway by the Midland Railway Carriage and Wagon Co in 1901, and resembled the first class coach in outward appearance. One of the 1901 third class coaches has been preserved by the Talyllyn Railway after being rescued from a farm near Glyn Ceiriog in 1958. The coach runs on the Talyllyn Railway as a first class coach.

The AnDel Model of the G.V.T. coach has been re-mastered in 2010. The dimensions and outward appearance of the model are similar to the previous version. The model has been updated to simplify the build and incorporate the latest production techniques. The chassis has been designed with correct size wheels, pattern axle boxes and aesthetic brake gear. The interior of the coach has been simplified and a lift off roof fitted to allow access for populating and detailing. The kit is available in pre-coloured green and other colours by request and can be built to either 32mm or 45mm gauge, both axle lengths being provided. The model's dimensions are: height, 147mm; width, 102mm; and length, 210mm.
