The four compartment Talyllyn coach is based upon coaches on the Talyllyn Railway, and it is full of charm and character. The coach size, in width and height, closely follows prototype coaches with only the length being shortened. The coach is ideal for those with a smaller railway and unable to fit multiple scale length coaches into the station.

The model is a straightforward kit to assemble with a lift off roof as first used with the Ffestiniog Bug Box. The kit is pre-coloured with the body panels being finished off in caramel and the seating in red. The red panelling on the coach requires painting though a suitable paint is available.

The AnDel Models Twin buffer system resolves the issue of twin buffer and single buffer compatibility. The AnDel designed twin buffer has a discrete centre buffer that allows connection to either centre buffer stock or single buffer stock without the coupling chain becoming detached.
