AnDel Models is pleased to offer these industrial grade cyanoacrylate adhesives (Superglue). The range consists of three standard adhesives, thick, medium and thin. Also in the range are an impact resistant superglue and a superglue activator.

Thin a low viscosity penetrating grade for pre-assembled parts, with a good capillary action and fast cure.

Medium viscosity is penetrating and slight gap fill glue. This is a good general purpose Superglue which is ideal for most building circumstances.

Thick is a high viscosity gap filling grade with a slower cure time of 6 to 12 seconds. Ideal when some manipulation or a slower bond is required.

Flex grade is a high impact flexible glue which is rubber toughened. Ideal where extra strength or shock resistance is required.

Activator is used to instantly set superglue to allow for the filling of large gaps or to make the glue set on harder to bond surfaces. This can be sprayed on, or before the glue and unlike other activators this does not whiten on cure.

I use these glues in my own, and customers models and have found them to exceed expectations. The Activator is used regularly to avoid “sticky” fingers from unset superglue and to avoid whitening of any glued joints. The flex grade is particularly useful for bonding couplings and axle boxes as the shock resistance gives permanent adhesion without the fear of failure.
